Fixed-term employment contract 12 months

Within the R&I Chemistry and Processes team, you will actively contribute to the department's activities on the following

missions :
- Supervise process development aspects for a new access route to methionine.
- Lead the experimentation campaign in the laboratory with the support of a technician.
- Integrate chemical and catalytic steps into a process with help of process team
- Challenge performances and compare several technologies
- Data acquisition and integration in the economic model for competitivity assessment
- Participate in the improvement of Adisseo laboratory environment especially in internal processes and digital domain.
- Identify new technical/scientific directions and lead strategic thinking in your field.
- Prioritize ideas for their potential impact on Adisseo competitiveness

Qualifications

Ph.D in Chemical Engineering / Chemistry (French Ingénieur diploma)

French and english required
- Advanced skills in experimentation for chemical process development
- Knowledge in technologies (evaporation, electrodialysis, liquid/liquid separation, crystallization)
- Knowledge on heterogeneous catalysis
- Basics on chemical engineering/theory (thermodynamic equilibrium, kinetics) linked to process development
- Operational management : design, organize and manage experimentation programs for technicians
- Knowledge of analytical chemistry (HPLC/GC), potentiometry and related data analysis
- Good technical and scientific, industrial and sustainability culture
